This bone-handled fork was made circa 1850-1870, by the Lamson & Goodnow Manufacturing Company in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. Lamson and Goodnow are the oldest manufacturer of cutlery in the world and are still producing knives and cutlery in their factory in Westfield, Massachusetts. The Shelburne Falls factory is now an outlet for their wares.
