About this item

Men and boys gathered to survey the damage following a 1908 fire at the Hotel Warren in South Deerfield, Massachusetts. This building was the livery stable. Hotels commonly maintained extra horses, a few buggies, and other horse drawn vehicles for people to hire. Following this fire, the hotel rebuilt and enlarged the stable.
