About this item

The summit of Mount Tom provides stunning views of Easthampton, Massachusetts, and Holyoke, as well as the rest of the valley. Both communities sit on the west side of the Connecticut River. Many postcards were produced as souvenirs to send to family and friends at the turn of the twentieth century in the days before the widespread use of personal cameras. This card shows people walking along one of the decks on the summit, the panorama of Easthampton, and the Berkshire Mountains in the background.
