About this item

Mitch Mieczkowski, who farms with his brothers, represents the third generation of his family to do so in the Connecticut River Valley in Massachusetts and the second generation on this farm in Montague. As for the next generation, some of the family have continued in agriculture and others have gone into teaching. This was the first of many visits photographer George Bluh made to the Mieczkowski farm, where both field crops and some dairy products are produced.
