About this item

The latest Ford models line the interior of George Fisher’s garage in South Deerfield, Massachusetts. He is probably to the left, standing in front of one of six new 1912 Ford Model T Touring Editions. Henry Ford’s 1912 model was the second-to-last built using the old methods: in August of 1913, he would begin the mass production of automobiles.  Although Fisher’s Garage burned to the ground in 1935, the company rebuilt and, as of 2006, it was still in operation.
