About this item

The clothing manufacturing company of F.H. Sprague of Orange, Massachusetts, was founded in the 1890s, and continued through the 1920s. The Boston & Fitchburg Railroad (later Boston & Maine) ran through town and explains why one of the items produced by Sprague was “railroad trousers.”
