About this item

Will Hutchins gave his talk during the national Arts and Crafts Movement (1875-1920) when increasing industrialization and mass production enhanced the appeal of objects crafted by hand and the desire among some to learn the old arts and crafts. He spoke to the Society of Deerfield Industries, formerly known as the Deerfield Society of Arts and Crafts.
