This Mileage Ration Identification Folder was issued to Caryll Crafts of South Deerfield, Massachusetts. It identified the owner of the 20 coupons, or stamps, enclosed, which entitled Mr. Crafts to purchase gasoline for his car from May 25 to September 3, 1944. Important instructions stated that the stamps could “not be used for any purpose other than that which it was applied for and issued,” and warned that criminals would be prosecuted and their rations would be revoked.
