To add a collection item to American Centuries, that item must first be cataloged in the museum’s PastPerfect catalog. There are no exceptions to this.

Find the item in PastPerfect and gather needed information

log in to American Centuries [WordPress]

add a new page for your new collection item.

Publish the new page. Note the slug.

Go to All Pages. find the new item. Synch with Past Perfect. [should we add a synch button on item edit page?]

Gather and process the item images. See Collection Item Images documentation to add images to collection item page.

Edit page. Choose one image as the Featured Image. Save page (Update)

View finished item page on the public website. Search for item in the public search page. Check everything, fix as needed.
