We welcome use of PVMA images from this website for educational or non-commercial use. This category of use is exempt from licensing fees. Examples of license-free uses are:

• Theses, dissertations, and other academic assignments that will not be widely distributed;
• PowerPoint presentations, slideshows, and lectures;
• Freely accessible (non-subscription) webpages and in the social media environment (blogs, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

In all cases, the credit line “Collection of the Pocumtuck Valley Memorial Association” should appear alongside of images. If possible, please include a hyperlink to the origin of the image. Also, please note that all primary resources (artifacts, documents, etc.) from the Online Collection include citation text that can be easily copied and pasted for correct citations.
