About this item

This potty chair was made for twins Samuel J. and Betsy Watson, who were born June 3, 1854, in Leverett, Massachusetts. Styled like the wooden side chairs with armrests of the mid-19th century, the potty chair has a deep skirt to conceal the two ceramic or metal pots under the holes in the seat.
