About this item

Madeline Yale Wynne (1847-1918) created this elegant etched brass bowl decorated with chrysanthemums early in her career. The sophisticated design contrasts with her later Arts and Crafts era metalwork that more readily shows her hammerwork. This bowl was exhibited in Deerfield, Massachusetts, in 1899.
