The Deerfield Society of Blue and White Needlework, founded by Ellen Miller and Margaret Whiting, offered for sale door curtains, tablecloths, wall hangings, and baskets. The objects, all made by women in Deerfield, Massachusetts, were displayed in the front parlor of the Miller home on the Deerfield street. The society was part of the national Arts and Crafts Movement (1875-1920).
