This post-1890 photograph by Clifton Johnson (1865-1940) of the center of Sunderland, Massachusetts, shows the former town hall that also functioned as the town school. Built in the Greek Revival style, with cupola and portico, the building still stands and is used presently for storage. The public building is flanked on both sides by private homes.
