About this item

Avenue A is the main street in Turners Falls, Massachusetts, a planned village that is part of the town of Montague, founded in 1867. The planners laid out the roads in a grid-like pattern, with Avenue A the main north-south road in town. Except for the trolley tracks, the street looks much the same today as when this postcard was produced.
