About this item

The Deerfield River Valley spreads below these motorists driving along Whitcomb Summit in Florida, Massachusetts.  The summit is the highest point of the Mohawk Trail (Massachusetts State Route 2), and is one of many vantage points from which to view scenic vistas such as this one.  The Mohawk Trail was originally a trading route used by Indigenous peoples traveling to and from Western Massachusetts and Albany, New York.
