About this item

A logical extension of the national Arts and Crafts Movement (1875-1920) in Deerfield, Massachusetts, was theatrical revival. Will Hutchins, an artist and aspiring playwright spearheaded the dramas, enlisting actors from the community. The end result, though popular, drew mixed reviews.
