About this item

Will Hutchins was an artist, playwright, director, teacher, and lecturer who lived in Deerfield, Massachusetts, for several years. He held courses on color theory, sketching from life, and picture framing. His foray into theater began with the Harrow Theater, a community company featuring amateur actors from Deerfield and elsewhere. In 1909, he was granted a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Yale University.
