This crematorium key from a Nazi concentration camp was brought back from Dietz, Germany, by a member of the liberating American forces. The young soldier who took the key locked the door with the fervent hope that the death chamber would never be used again. The key belongs to the Pichette family of Ashfield, Massachusetts, and reminds them of the important accomplishments of American soldiers in World War II (1939-1945.)
