Deerfield Basket Makers

The Deerfield Basket Makers was a group of women organized in Deerfield, Massachusetts, during the Arts and Crafts Movement. They wove useful palm-leaf, reed, pine needle, and willow baskets in their homes. Their products were exhibited and sold at Deerfield’s annual summer exhibitions and at national arts and crafts exhibitions.
