Rolfe S. Russell (1907-1935), a promising young physician of Greenfield, Massachusetts, specialized in obstetrics during his brief medical career. Born in St. Albans, Vermont, he attended the University of Vermont’s Medical College. After graduating in 1930, he joined the medical practice of Dr. Webster Clark in Greenfield. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Russell volunteered his time to attend to indigent cases in Greenfield and Deerfield. He died suddenly from a blood clot.
