About this item

These three necklaces with fine chains and pendants (lavalieres) were made by metalworker Madeline Yale Wynne, during the national Arts and Crafts movement. They are distinct from her usual work, as she was known for her bold jewelry. Wynne summered in Deerfield, Massachusetts, and wintered in Chicago, Illinois, and was a leader in both communities’ Arts and Crafts societies.
