About this item

John Sawin offered not only “fresco painting” (images painted on plaster walls using oil paint) in the latest styles such as “Ancient Grecian” or “French designs”, but could also hang wallpaper and paint a wide range of things from signs to landscapes to “wire window screen shades”, plus imitate woods, marbles, and stained glass.  He did engravings as well.
