About this item

Esther (Harding) Dickinson was married for 15 years to widower Consider Dickinson. Over the years Consider had accumulated “by industry, good judgment, and economy” a fairly large estate for the times. When he died at age 94, he left it all to his second wife, Esther. This appraisal, taken on July 16, 1875, lists the real estate and the investments and their value.
