Eastern Europeans in the Connecticut River Valley 1880 to Present

Did you know that large numbers of Eastern Europeans have made the mid-Connecticut River Valley their home from the 1880s up to the present day? Find out where they were from, why they came to the Valley and how the early arrivals reshaped their communities. Explore the vital contributions of Polish, Ukrainian, Lithuanian and other Eastern Europeans to the growth and development of farms, factories, and civic life, which their descendants continue to this day.
